Krishnan V. and Parvez Charania, the founding partners of KPa, bring with them over two decades of academic and professional experience. Both are alumni of the L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, University of Bombay, and are registered with the Council of Architecture, India. After five years of rigorous academic training and six years of professional practice with leading architectural firms in India, they established KPa with a vision to deliver innovative and contextual design solutions. In addition to their practice, Krishnan and Parvez have contributed significantly to architectural education. They serve as visiting faculty for architectural design and design dissertations at the L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai, and have participated on jury panels for various academic institutions.
Our design philosophy centers on a seamless fusion of aesthetics and functionality. Every project begins with a deep understanding of the client’s needs, a thorough study of the site context, and extensive research. The result is a thoughtfully designed, functionally robust, and aesthetically elegant built environment. We adopt a holistic design approach, integrating architecture with interior spaces, and ensuring a coherent and immersive spatial experience. Our work is characterized by a minimalist and contemporary aesthetic, aimed at harmonizing the built form with its natural surroundings and tectonic expression.
