Architecture and interiors built around how people actually live, work, and gather — across India and six countries worldwide.
KPa is a Mumbai-based architecture and interior design studio with a reputation for spaces that are as rigorous in their making as they are distinctive in their presence. Founded in 2003, we have spent over two decades designing homes, offices, hotels, hospitals, institutions, and retail spaces across India, the UAE, Seychelles, Uganda, Portugal, and the United States.
Our work spans the full breadth of the built environment — from a single living room to a 35-acre masterplan — and every project, regardless of scale, receives the same depth of thought and care.
KPa was founded by Krishnan V. and Parvez Charania — architects, educators, and the creative force behind every project that leaves our studio.
Both are alumni of the L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, University of Mumbai, and are registered with the Council of Architecture, India. After five years of intensive architectural training and six years of practice with leading firms, they founded KPa with a single conviction: that great design must be both intellectually rigorous and deeply human.
That conviction has never changed.
Today, Krishnan and Parvez remain hands-on across every project — from first sketch to final site visit. They also serve as visiting faculty at L.S. Raheja School of Architecture and sit on jury panels at institutions across the country. The ideas shaping the next generation of Indian architects are the same ideas shaping your space.
