Director’s Office – NCC Group, Hyderabad

Located on the top floor of NCC Group’s headquarters in Hyderabad, this project was envisioned as a refined, private space catering to the daily working needs and comfort of the company’s director. The program included a main cabin, casual meeting room, waiting area, and an attached rest room—all seamlessly integrated to offer both function and understated luxury.

The design language focused on minimalism, using a palette of neutral materials and muted tones throughout the common areas to create a calm, professional atmosphere. In contrast, the director’s cabin was treated as a feature space—a sculptural ceiling of suspended cubic volumes with concealed lighting was designed to create a sense of levitation and visual intrigue, distinguishing the space without overwhelming it.

A corner desk arrangement allowed the director to engage visitors in multiple settings—either formally across the main desk or more intimately around a round meeting table, fostering flexibility in interactions. The warmth of wooden flooring grounds the space, while a linear bamboo planter along one edge adds a quiet touch of greenery, maintaining the minimalist ethos.

The waiting room was envisioned as a bright yet cozy lounge, with a large wall-mounted mirror used strategically to visually expand the space. Tucked between the cabin and the waiting area is a rest room, complete with a lounger and bath—offering a space of retreat and restoration during long working hours.

This office reflects a balance of sophistication and restraint, where every element is curated to support functionality, privacy, and comfort within a minimal architectural framework.
