Redefining Identity — Office Refurbishment for STULZ CHSPL India, Navi Mumbai
In a strategic move to realign its corporate identity with its global ethos, STULZ CHSPL India Pvt. Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of STULZ Germany, embarked on a bold refurbishment of its office premises located within its manufacturing campus in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. The design initiative not only modernizes the physical workspace but also weaves the brand’s core visual language into the architectural fabric.
At the heart of the transformation lies the assertive use of STULZ’s signature red, applied with confidence across key spatial anchors. This vivid chromatic expression—most notably in the flooring of the entrance lobby and the central court—becomes a visual metaphor for the company’s energy, precision, and brand continuity. The red is not just an accent but a connective element, traveling across levels and programs to unify the design narrative.
The office, originally inward-looking and disconnected from its surroundings, is reimagined through the introduction of a landscaped internal court, now a central feature. A pseudo-skylight above this space breathes natural light into the interiors, transforming the previously closed volume into a more dynamic and uplifting environment. The court’s lush character visually and spatially extends to the boardroom, situated behind the reception wall, fostering a dialogue between nature and formality.
Architectural interventions are measured yet impactful. The existing spiral staircase in the central court has been refashioned into a minimal, sculptural element, allowing the red flooring to flow beneath it, drawing the eye and guiding movement toward the semi-outdoor cafeteria on the upper level. This transition from formal to informal space is handled with elegance, reinforcing openness and flexibility in the workplace.
Through this refurbishment, the office space evolves into a visually expressive, functionally efficient, and brand-driven environment—one that mirrors STULZ’s values of innovation, precision, and global cohesion, while responding to the local context with sensitivity and finesse.
