A Boutique Business Hotel Blending Luxury with a Sense of Home
Located in the vibrant heart of Bangalore, Matthan Hotel is a boutique business destination that reimagines urban hospitality by offering guests a stay experience that is both elevated and intimately personal. The design brief called for distinctive, character-driven interiors—a departure from the expected minimalism typically associated with business hotels.
Each room was meticulously crafted to evoke a unique identity, providing a sense of homeliness amidst contemporary luxury. Rich textures, warm tones, and carefully curated details contribute to an atmosphere where business travellers can unwind without the sterility of typical hotel spaces.
A key innovation in the room design was the thoughtful configuration of bathrooms—planned to accommodate simultaneous use by couples while maintaining comfort and privacy. The layout enhances functionality without compromising on the guest experience.
The bathrooms also feature a television embedded within the glass panel facing the bathtub, a touch of aspirational luxury that hints at a lifestyle of indulgence and refinement. This element adds both functionality and fantasy, aligning with the hotel’s ambition to deliver not just comfort, but a dream-worthy stay.
