The interiors for the lobby of the shopping arcade at Trident Hotels Limited were envisioned as an extension of the brand’s core philosophy—sophisticated luxury rooted in timeless design. The brief called for a space that would seamlessly transition guests from the grand arrival experience into curated retail moments, all within a cohesive design language.
Adjacent to the lobby, the shopping arcade carries forward this narrative in colour and material with a focus on luxury retail in a refined setting. Boutique storefronts were unified through a consistent façade language, while allowing each brand to maintain individual identity. Flooring transitions, integrated signage, and display lighting were all thoughtfully detailed to maintain visual continuity without monotony.
Display zones were integrated into the arcade’s circulation path, encouraging exploration and pause, with niches and alcoves designed to house curated product showcases or art installations. The interplay of materials and light ensures that the shopping experience feels premium, yet never overpowering—a quiet luxury that complements rather than competes with the hotel’s hospitality experience.
Together, the lobby and shopping arcade interiors offer a harmonious blend of hospitality and retail, reinforcing Trident’s commitment to elegance, efficiency, and timeless appeal.
